DATA VISCERALIZATION

“Making the Desert Island Discs Dataset: Data Visceralization and How We Don’t Know What We Know” investigates and explores how data and data analysis plays a far more important role in Digital Humanities (DH) than what might be assumed. Through data visceralizations utilizing our senses, we aim to experience data beyond its pre-conceived assumptions, DH canon, and raise awareness of multimodal sense making of what data can represent.
